Indulge in these irresistible sweet yeast rolls any day of the week.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 0.25 cup warm water
  • 1 pinch white sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Combine yeast, 1/4 cup of warm water, and a hint of sugar in a spacious bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and 1 cup of warm water. Stir in oil and salt. Combine egg mixture with yeast, then add sugar. Slowly mix in flour. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest at room temperature for 1 hour. Refrigerate overnight for the dough to rise. The dough will be sticky and double in size.
  • Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each out into a circle on a floured surface. Cut into slices, roll from large to small end, and place on greased baking pans to rise for 2 hours.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 minutes until golden brown.
