Elevate your meatloaf game with this flavorful recipe perfect for weekend gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground beef (80% lean)
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce (such as A.1.®)
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
  • Combine ground beef, mayonnaise, bread crumbs, mustard, onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Transfer the mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan with high sides and shape it into a loaf, pressing down firmly to remove any air pockets and ensure all sides are squared off.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for a total of 60 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through.
  • Combine the steak sauce, ketchup, and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Once baked, generously ladle the sauce over the dish. Return to the oven and cook until the center is no longer pink, approximately 10 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (70°C) as measured by an instant-read thermometer.
  • Take the meatloaf out of the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before transferring it to a serving platter and cutting it into 8 slices.
