Decadent brownies elevated with applesauce and chocolate syrup for extra moisture and flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33300000429153 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 0.25 cup applesauce
  • 0.25 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 (13 ounce) package brownie mix
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare a 9-inch square pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • Combine vegetable oil, eggs, egg yolk, applesauce, and chocolate syrup in a medium bowl until smooth. Mix in brownie mix and cocoa powder. Gently fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the brownies have a dry top.
