Moist and decadent chocolate cake made rich with sour cream, chocolate chips, and cocoa.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.25 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in quick 15-second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth, for about 1 minute. Allow to cool.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and egg until light and airy using an electric mixer for about 3 minutes. Mix in melted chocolate, flour, milk, cocoa powder, sour cream, and vegetable oil until smooth and well blended.
  • Transfer the luscious batter into the perfectly greased baking pan.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, approximately 30 minutes.
