Indulge in simple and delicious treats made with Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie and Super Moist yellow cake mixes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (7.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (or your favorite flavor)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups. Prepare cookie mix according to package instructions using butter and 1 egg, then refrigerate.
  • Prepare the cake mix batter according to the box instructions, incorporating the remaining 3 eggs, oil, and water.
  • Take the cookie dough out of the refrigerator and press 1 tablespoon into the bottom of each muffin cup. Add 2 tablespoons of cake batter on top of each cookie dough base. Place a couple of extra tablespoons of cookie dough on an ungreased small cookie sheet for the topping.
  • For delicious treats, bake cupcakes for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. In the last 10 minutes of baking, add cookies to the oven. Once done, transfer cupcakes and cookies to cooling racks and let them cool completely for about 45 minutes.
  • Spread a generous amount of frosting over the cupcakes, then sprinkle each one with crumbled baked cookies.
