Indulge in a surf and turf dish drizzled with rich béarnaise sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (220g each) beef fillet steaks
  • 16 cooked prawns, peeled, deveined
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 47g packet bearnaise sauce
  • mixed salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Carefully slice a pocket into the side of each steak using a sharp knife. Stuff each pocket with 2 prawns and secure them in place by using toothpicks.
  • Preheat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Lightly spray both sides of steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook steaks for 4 to 5 minutes on each side for a medium doneness or until desired level is reached.
  • Prepare the béarnaise sauce according to the package instructions, then gently fold in the remaining 8 prawns and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until warmed.
  • Gently remove toothpicks from steaks and plate them. Drizzle sauce and prawns on top. Accompany with a side of mixed salad leaves.
