Grill fish filets with bacon and sweet onions in a fish basket for an unforgettable flavor that will have everyone craving more!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound sliced bacon
  • 1 large Vidalia, or other sweet onion sliced into rings
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets red snapper, bones removed
  • 1 dash soy sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Heat up your outdoor grill to a sizzling medium-high temperature.
  • Prepare a wire cooking basket by lining one side with strips of bacon, leaving space in between. Add a layer of onion rings, followed by placing the fish fillets on top of the onions. Cover the fish with more onions, and top with additional bacon strips. Close the basket and lightly sprinkle with soy sauce.
  • Grill the basket for 5 to 7 minutes per side until the bacon is just cooked through. Remove from grill, carefully invert the basket onto a plate, lift off the basket, and serve.
