Crunchy baked nuts, quick snack ready in 40 minutes, ideal for gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  • 2 cups pecan or walnut halves
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 300°F. Grease a 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. Combine egg white and pecan halves in a medium bowl, coating the pecans until sticky.
  • Combine the sugar and cardamom in a small bowl, then coat the pecans evenly with the mixture. Spread the coated pecans in a single layer on a pan.
  • Bake for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely or enjoy warm. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
