Delicious homemade granola - perfect for cereal, yogurt, fruit, or as a satisfying snack on its own.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a cozy 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) and line a 10x15 inch pan with wax paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine brown sugar and water, then microwave for about 1 minute to dissolve the sugar. In a large bowl, mix oats, salt, walnuts, and cinnamon. Add the sugar mixture, honey, and vanilla extract, stirring well. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking pan and make clusters by pressing small handfuls of the mixture together.
  • Preheat the oven and bake the granola for 20 minutes. Stir gently with a spoon, bake for another 25 minutes until golden, and let it cool to achieve a crunchy texture.
