Delicious granola and cereal snack mix with a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and salty flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown rice syrup
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 3 cups Cascadian Farm™ organic multi grain cereal squares
  • 2 cups Cascadian Farm™ Farm Stand Harvest organic vanilla, coconut and pumpkin seed granola
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seed
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted and salted whole cashews
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 250°F and prepare a 17x12-inch cookie sheet by lining it with cooking parchment paper.
  • Combine melted butter with brown sugar, syrup, curry powder, cumin, salt, ginger, and red pepper in a small bowl; mix until well blended.
  • Take the multi-grain squares cereal and put them in a large bowl. Then, drizzle the melted butter mixture over the cereal and stir until everything is well coated.
  • Sprinkle in some granola and sesame seeds, gently mix together, then spread the mixture in the pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Let it cool for 30 minutes. Gently release from parchment paper and break into big chunks. Mix in cashews, apricots, and cranberries. Combine well. Store in a sealed container.
