Savory seasoned beef meatballs with sweet and tangy flavors, perfect for any meal or celebration.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 3 pounds ground beef
  • 0.33333334326744 cup dried onion flakes
  • 1.5 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tablespoons mustard powder
  • 1 cup water, divided
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions:
  • Mix together the beef, onion flakes, bread crumbs, salt, nutmeg, eggs, and milk in a large bowl to create the meatball mixture.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Form mixture into 1-inch balls, arrange in a 9x13 inch baking dish, and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine vinegar, sugar, mustard, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 1 minute. Mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup water, then pour into the saucepan and let it boil for another minute.
  • Pour the sauce over the cooked meatballs, then bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes, basting from time to time.
