Maple-spiced carrot fries: quick and delicious with a sweet and spicy kick. Ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound carrot, peeled and cut into matchsticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 1 pinch curry powder
  • 1 pinch hot paprika
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and line a big rimmed baking pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Arrange carrots on the baking sheet and coat with enough olive oil. Drizzle maple syrup over carrots and sprinkle with salt, cayenne, curry powder, and paprika. Mix well to evenly distribute.
  • Roast in the preheated oven, tossing occasionally, until tender, for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
