Apricot-infused chunky salsa glaze for juicy ham steak.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (2 pound) bone-in ham steak
  • 0.5 cup chunky salsa
  • 0.33333334326744 cup apricot nectar
  • 0.25 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
Instructions:
  • Spray skillet generously with cooking spray over medium heat. Fry ham until golden and fully heated, about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Remove excess grease. Stir in salsa, apricot nectar, apricot preserves, brown sugar, and taco seasoning.
  • Lower the heat and cover the skillet. Let the sauce simmer until it's hot and bubbly, remembering to flip the ham steak once, for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Place the ham steak on a serving platter and generously drizzle with the sauce.
