Elevate any dish with a tangy-sweet sauce of dates, apricots, and tamarind.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup tamarind pulp
  • 8 dates
  • 8 dried apricots
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup water, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • In a blender, mix together tamarind pulp, dates, apricots, sugar, pepper, and salt until a smooth paste forms. Gradually add water and blend until you achieve a sauce-like consistency.
  • Transfer the tamarind mixture to a saucepan and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, removing any bubbles that form on the surface. Enjoy hot or cooled to perfection.
