Elevate your stuffing with a delightful twist: apple and sweet potato stuffing.
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium apple - peeled, cored, and diced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sweet potatoes, drained
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add apple and onion, cover, and cook until tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Combine sugar, salt, and nutmeg in the skillet; push to one side. In the empty side, add drained sweet potatoes and mash with a fork. Stir in bread crumbs until all ingredients are well mixed. Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  • Bake until the top turns a beautiful golden brown, approximately 1 hour, in the preheated oven.
