Kid-friendly ginger fish with sweet soy, simple and flavorful. Serve with greens or rice for a delightful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 117.98 gm honey
  • 65.63 gm reduced-salt soy sauce
  • 2cm piece of ginger, peeled, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 8 small white fish fillets (such as snapper)
  • baby Asian salad greens, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, ginger, and oil. Stir and cook until the marinade comes to a boil. Allow it to cool before pouring it into a ceramic dish.
  • Place the fish in the delicious marinade, ensuring it's well coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse perfectly.
  • Preheat a chargrill or barbecue to medium heat. Take the fish out of the marinade, saving the marinade. Grill the fish, brushing with reserved marinade, for 3 minutes on each side or until cooked to your preference. Plate the fish and serve with Asian salad greens.
