Irresistible sugar cookie and chocolate candy fusion for a quick and delicious treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons white sparkling sugar or granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons coarse pink sparkling sugar or pink decorator sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder or granules
  • About 36 chocolate-striped candy drops or pieces, unwrapped
  • About 36 milk chocolate candy drops or pieces, unwrapped
Instructions:
  • Prepare the cookie dough according to the package instructions, then mix in flour. Shape the dough into 36 (1-inch) balls. In a separate small bowl, mix sugars and coffee powder. Roll the dough balls in the sugar-coffee mixture and place them about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375°F for 7 to 9 minutes until set. Press one chocolate-striped candy into the center of each cookie immediately. Let sit for about 5 minutes to soften, then lightly press. Top with a chocolate candy.
  • If you'd like, flip the candies on the cookies. Allow them to cool on the racks until completely cooled.
