Delicious and fluffy morning pancakes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon red liquid food color
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
  • Candy sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, granulated sugar, milk, and eggs until fully combined. Split the batter between two medium bowls and add food color to one of the bowls.
  • Preheat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F. Test the heat by sprinkling a few drops of water - if bubbles jump around, it's ready. Brush with vegetable oil or spray with cooking spray before heating.
  • Pour a 1/4 cup of white batter onto a hot griddle. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until bubbles form on top and edges are dry. Flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat with red batter.
  • Cut out heart shapes from the warm pancakes using a 3- to 3 1/2-inch cookie cutter. Arrange the cutouts in the opposite color pancakes, then garnish with powdered sugar and candy sprinkles.
