Delicious Israeli tahini cookies with a sweet and buttery taste.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup tahini
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Cream together the fluffy butter and sugar, then add vanilla and tahini and mix well. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder before stirring into the butter mixture. Drop tablespoon-sized pieces onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until they are beautifully golden brown, approximately 15 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
