Tangy lemon cream cheese frosting made with butter, sugar, and zest of lemon - perfect for lemon desserts.
Ingredients:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2.25 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 4 drops yellow food coloring
Instructions:
  • Combine cream cheese and butter in a bowl, then mix in powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Gradually incorporate 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 cups of powdered sugar until the frosting reaches a smooth spreading consistency. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring and stir well.
