Create a crisp crust using bread flour before adding toppings for a gourmet pizza experience you won't find in frozen options.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 0.33333334326744 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
Instructions:
  • Mix together flour, salt, sugar, dry milk, butter or margarine, yeast, and warm water until a dough forms. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Transfer to a well-oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for 2 hours.
  • Gently press the dough to release the air bubbles. Shape to fit a 14-inch pizza pan and let it rise until doubled in size.
  • Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) until the crust turns a delicate light brown, then take it out of the oven.
  • Top the pizza with your favorite toppings and bake for 20 minutes, or until toppings are cooked to perfection.
