Tomato and chili pasta bake with Colby Jack cheese, butter, salt, and sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta
  • 0.25 cup low fat margarine
  • 2.5 cups shredded reduced fat Colby cheese
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • Cook the pasta until al dente following the instructions on the package. Drain the cooked pasta.
  • Combine pasta, creamy margarine, flavorful cheese, diced tomatoes, a hint of sugar, and a pinch of salt until well mixed. Transfer the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 40 to 60 minutes until the pasta is golden brown, tenting with foil if needed.
