Indulge in a decadent chocolate chip cookie cake loaded with real milk chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 0.75 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips (such as Guittard®)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Using an electric mixer, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 5 minutes). Then, mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  • Combine the flour mixture with the butter mixture, stirring gently until just blended.
  • Gently fold in decadent chocolate chips and crunchy nuts, then evenly press the aromatic cookie dough into the pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and the cake springs back when lightly pressed. Allow to cool before cutting into 2-inch squares.
