  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 0.75 cup plain lowfat yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle-flavored hot sauce

Instructions:
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté red onion and garlic until soft and lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl. Stir in yogurt, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, mustard and garlic powder, horseradish, parsley, cilantro, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and hot sauce. Whisk until smooth. Add the ground beef and mix until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Preheat your outdoor grill until it reaches medium-high heat. Shape the mixture into 6 patties, each 1/2 inch thick and 5 inches across.
  • Grill burgers for about 6 minutes on each side until fully cooked through.
