Tangy Three-Bean Salad: A vibrant mix of green beans, wax beans, and kidney beans in a zesty dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 0.5 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can wax beans, drained
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, mustard, water, and vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute while stirring. Allow to cool before using.
  • Mix together the green beans, wax beans, kidney beans, onion, and green pepper in a large bowl. Drizzle the cooled dressing over the mixture and toss well to ensure everything is coated. For the best flavor, let it marinate for at least one hour before serving. Enjoy!
