Kid-friendly cheesy pasta bake for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 350g large pasta shells
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 250g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 500g 4 Star Beef Mince
  • 575g jar Bolognese pasta sauce
  • 20.00 ml flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 200g fresh ricotta
  • 100g mozzarella
  • 40g parmesan
  • Flat-leaf parsley leaves, extra, to serve
  • Mixed salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 200C. Boil pasta in salted water in a large pot for 2 minutes less than package instructions. Drain.
  • Heat oil in large frying pan over medium heat. Cook mushrooms until browned. Add beef mince and cook until browned, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. Stir in pasta sauce and simmer on low for 5 minutes. Add pasta and parsley, season to taste. Gently crumble ricotta over and stir to combine.
  • Spread the pasta evenly in a 3L, 20cm x 30cm oven-proof baking dish. Top with mozzarella and parmesan, then bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown. Garnish with extra parsley leaves and serve with mixed salad leaves.
