Creamy pasta and bolognese bake recipe

Quick and creamy pasta bake with bolognese sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal and great for leftovers!
Ingredients:
  • 375g Penne Rigate
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 500g Cook with Curtis Italian Recipe Beef & Pork Mince
  • 500g Mum’s Sause Bolognese
  • 250g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 60g baby spinach leaves
  • 500g four cheese lasagne bake sauce
  • 120g tasty cheese
  • Flat-leaf parsley leaves, to serve
  • Cos lettuce wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain thoroughly and transfer to a large heatproof bowl.
  • In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Cook minced meat until it changes color, about 3 minutes. Add bolognese sauce and tomatoes, bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in spinach.
  • Combine the cheese sauce with the pasta in a bowl and mix well. Spread the mince mixture in a 6-cup (1.5L) baking dish. Layer with the pasta mixture, sprinkle with cheddar, and bake for 35 minutes until golden and melted.
  • Garnish the pasta bake with fresh parsley and accompany with a side of crisp lettuce.
