Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
  • Jelly
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Combine the brown sugar, shortening, butter, vanilla, and egg yolk in a medium bowl. Mix in the flour and salt until a cohesive dough forms.
