"Delicious 5-ingredient jam cookies bursting with sweetness!"
Ingredients:
  • 180g butter
  • 220g caster sugar
  • 1 Free Range Egg
  • 300g plain flour
  • 80g jam
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. Mix in the egg until well combined, then gently fold in the flour.
  • Roll tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture into balls and place them on lined trays, leaving space for spreading. Use your thumb or the end of a wooden spoon to create a heart-shaped indentation in the center of each ball. Fill each indentation with ½ tsp of jam.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until light golden, swapping trays halfway through cooking. Let cool completely on the trays.
