Energize your mornings with this crispy muesli!
Ingredients:
  • Melted butter, to lightly grease
  • 270g (3 cups) rolled oats
  • 220g (2 cups) bran cereal
  • 80g (2 cups) bran flakes
  • 170g (1 cup) sultanas
  • 80g (1/2 cup) sunflower kernels
  • 50g (1/2 cup) flaked almonds
  • 30g (1/2 cup) flaked coconut
  • 40g (1/4 cup) linseeds
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) honey
  • 80g butter, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Coat a large roasting pan with melted butter for a light greasing. Mix together oats, bran cereal, sultanas, sunflower kernels, almonds, coconut, linseeds, and cinnamon in a big bowl.
  • Drizzle the pan with honey, sprinkle with butter, and bake in the oven for 5 minutes until the butter foams and the honey starts to bubble. Ensure the butter and honey are fully melted to evenly coat the oat mixture.
  • Combine the oats with honey in the pan, ensuring they are evenly coated. Spread the mixture evenly across the pan to ensure even cooking.
  • Bake in the oven, gently stirring with a flat-edged wooden spoon every 5 minutes, until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 30 minutes.
