Upgrade classic cookies with irresistible toffee flavor by adding almond brickle chips for an extra layer of deliciousness.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (6 ounce) package almond brickle chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Cream together sugars, butter, and shortening until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then mix well. Fold in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gently stir in chocolate chips and almond brickle chips.
  • Spoon rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden, approximately 9 to 10 minutes, rotating sheets halfway through.
