Enhance tomato jam with a hint of cinnamon for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 400g can chopped tomatoes
  • 1.25 gm ground cinnamon
  • 57.20 gm honey
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, warm oil over gentle heat. Sauté onion until soft, about 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle in sugar and cook until caramelized, approximately 1-2 minutes. Stir in tomato and cinnamon, simmer until slightly reduced for 5-6 minutes. Add honey, and continue cooking until the sauce thickens, for about 5 minutes. Allow it to cool slightly before transferring to a serving bowl. Enjoy!
