Create a fusion tortilla pizza that combines Italian and Mexican flavors. Ideal for casual gatherings, this dish will delight all taste buds.
Ingredients:
  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 35g pkt reduced salt taco seasoning mix
  • 420g red kidney beans, drained, rinsed
  • 8 (13cm round) fajita tortillas
  • 200g salsa
  • 80g cheese
  • Doritos original corn chips, to serve
  • Lite sour cream, to serve
  • 2 hass avocados, halved, stone removed, peeled, diced
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
  • Mix all ingredients for the avocado salsa together with care, then season with a touch of salt and pepper.
  • In a spacious frying pan, sauté the mince over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Pour in the seasoning mix and 3/4 cup (185ml) of water. Let it simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened. Gently fold in the kidney beans.
  • - Preheat your oven to 200°C. - Grease baking trays and lay out tortillas. - Spread 1 tablespoon of Doritos salsa in the center of each tortilla, leaving a small border. - Top each with 1/4 cup of the mince mixture. - Sprinkle with grated cheese. - Bake for 5 minutes until the base is golden brown.
  • Lay corn chips evenly over each tortilla, then generously spread with sour cream and avocado salsa.
