Wholesome cereal bars with honey, peanut butter, sunflower seeds, raisins, and chocolate chips. Perfect grab-and-go breakfast or snack.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 3 cups toasted oat cereal rings (such as Cheerios®)
  • 1.5 cups raw unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup honey
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine crispy rice cereal, oat cereal rings, sunflower seeds, raisins, and chocolate chips in a large bowl and mix well.
  • In a saucepan, combine honey and brown sugar and bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for 1 minute, then take off the heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
  • Combine the hot peanut butter mixture with the dry ingredients, stirring until everything is evenly moistened.
  • Evenly press the mixture into the baking dish.
  • Allow to cool completely, then slice into delicious bars ready to be enjoyed.
