Treacle cocktail

Stir well for bold flavors to bloom in this cocktail.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup (mix 2 parts sugar to 1 part water)
  • 3 dashes orange bitters
  • 2 parts Bacardi 8 year Old Rum
  • 1 part cloudy apple juice
  • Orange twist to garnish
Instructions:
  • In a rocks glass, combine sugar syrup, bitters, and 2 ice cubes. Pour in 10ml of Bacardi 8 and stir. Add more ice, rest of the rum, and stir. Gently pour in apple juice and stir lightly. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
