Try this easy citrus tart - perfect with ice cream!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crust pastry
  • 1 cup golden syrup
  • 0.25 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), then gently press the pie crust into the 9-inch pie plate, ensuring an even layer at the bottom.
  • Combine the syrup, cream, bread crumbs, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a bowl, then transfer the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Place the dish in the oven already warmed up until the filling is firm for 35 to 40 minutes. Let it cool a bit before serving.
