Easy Jell-O trifle: Layer sponge cake with fruit jelly, fruit gelatin, chill, then top with pudding, whipped cream, and chocolate.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) sponge cake
  • 1 cup strawberry jelly
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry flavored Jell-O®
  • 15 ounces prepared vanilla pudding
  • 0.5 pint heavy cream
  • 2 ounces finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
Instructions:
  • Cut cake into slices and generously coat with jelly. Assemble cake slices into a layered structure at the base of a glass trifle or serving bowl. Follow package instructions to prepare gelatin and pour over the cake. Chill until firm, approximately 2 hours.
  • Pour the smooth and creamy pudding over the firm gelatin. In a medium bowl, whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks, then spread it over the pudding. Sprinkle with chocolate and chill in the refrigerator until it's time to enjoy this delightful treat.
