Bright and tangy sorbet made with cranberries, raspberries, and cherry juice.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups white sugar
  • 1.75 cups water
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 (12 ounce) package frozen unsweetened raspberries
  • 1.5 cups cherry juice
  • 0.5 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, bring sugar and water to a boil until sugar is dissolved. Stir in cranberries and cook for 5 minutes. Then, add raspberries and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until raspberries soften and cranberries pop.
  • Pass the mixture through a fine sieve to remove pulp, chill it for 2 hours. Stir in cherry juice, lime juice, and orange juice concentrate. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze as per the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Transfer the sorbet into a freezer container and freeze until firm, approximately 2 hours. Allow to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
