Creamy tuna and pea blend in rich mushroom soup sauce, perfect on toast, biscuits, or rice.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup frozen peas
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk, or as needed
  • 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna, drained
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Add peas, onion, and garlic to the butter and saute until the onion turns translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Ladle mushroom soup over the peas mixture and whisk in milk until smooth. Gently fold in flaked tuna; season with salt and pepper. Simmer until warm and bubbly, around 10 minutes.
