Quick and satisfying no-bake option.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can peas, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously coat a 2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Cook the noodles in a large pot of salted water until they are perfectly tender. Drain thoroughly.
  • Combine flour, butter, and salt in a saucepan, making sure to melt the butter and mix everything evenly. Pour in the milk and whisk until the sauce thickens, typically when it starts to boil. Stir in cheese until melted and well blended. Add tuna, peas, and noodles, and mix well before spreading the mixture evenly in a dish.
  • Place in a piping hot oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
