Ingredients:
  • 300g dried macaroni pasta
  • 40g Salted Butter
  • 40.00 ml White Plain Flour
  • 515.00 gm reduced-fat milk
  • 187.50 ml reduced-fat grated pizza cheese
  • 425g can tuna in springwater, drained, flaked
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Lightly grease an 8-cup ovenproof dish. Boil pasta in salted water per packet instructions until tender. Reserve 1/4 cup cooking liquid and return pasta to pan.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until bubbling. Add flour and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk until combined. Return to heat and stir constantly for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup cheese. Season with pepper.
  • Combine the pasta with tuna and reserved cooking liquid, then toss together. Transfer the mixture into the prepared dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden. Serve and enjoy!
