Ingredients:
  • 250g dried penne pasta
  • 50g butter
  • 50g (1/3 cup) plain flour
  • 750ml (3 cups) milk
  • 425g can Simply Tuna in Springwater, drained, flaked
  • 120g pkt Baby Spinach
  • 80g (1/3 cup) drained Sun-dried Tomato Strips
  • 150g Cheddar Cheese, coarsely grated
Instructions:
  • Boil the pasta in a large saucepan of salted water according to the package instructions until perfectly cooked. Drain and transfer the pasta back to the pan.
  • While the butter melts in a saucepan over medium-high heat, add the flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes until bubbling. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and well combined. Continue to cook and stir for 5 minutes until the mixture simmers and thickens.
  • Pour the sauce over the pasta, tuna, spinach, and sundried tomato mixture. Season generously and mix everything together. Transfer the combined ingredients to a 22 x 29cm baking dish.
  • Preheat the oven grill on high to get it nice and hot. Sprinkle the cheese generously over the pasta mixture, then grill for about 5 minutes until the cheese is perfectly melted and has a beautiful golden color. Serve and enjoy!
