Try our quick and tasty Tuna-Macaroni Salad! Delicious comfort food ready in just 20 minutes. Serve on a bed of greens with crusty bread for a satisfying meal. Ideal for summer suppers or potlucks!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (7 oz) elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup frozen green peas, thawed
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz), if desired
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish, if desired
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the macaroni according to package instructions, adding peas during the last 4 to 6 minutes of cooking. Then rinse with cold water and drain.
  • Combine macaroni, peas, and remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to enhance flavors.
