Decadent chocolate lava cake topped with creamy frosting and crunchy walnuts.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups butter, softened
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 (7.25 ounce) packages chocolate fudge frosting mix
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while preparing a 10-inch Bundt pan by greasing and flouring it. Set aside 3/4 cup of frosting mix for the chocolate glaze.
  • Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the remaining frosting mix and flour until just combined. Gently fold in the nuts.
  • After preparing the pan, transfer the batter into it. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes until a brownie-like crust forms on top. Let the cake cool in the pan for an hour, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before adding the glaze.
  • For the chocolate glaze, combine 3/4 cup of reserved frosting mix with 2 tablespoons of boiling water until smooth. Add more boiling water as needed to achieve the desired consistency, then drizzle it over the cooled cake.
