Delicious leftover turkey in a creamy mushroom and pea sauce, served over puff pastry shells, toast, or rice.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped cooked turkey
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.33300000429153 cup frozen peas, thawed
Instructions:
  • Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat until it turns golden brown, stirring constantly.
  • Cook mushrooms in delicious, browned butter until tender, stirring occasionally. Add flour and stir until smooth. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and cook until slightly thickened.
  • Mix in the flavorful turkey, rich cream, and vibrant peas. Simmer on low heat until the mixture thickens. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste.
