30-minute saucy biscuit dinner - quick and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 2 2/3 cups milk
  • 1 package (20 oz) lean ground turkey
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (3 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and generously spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Combine 2 1/4 cups of Bisquick mix, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, thyme, and 2/3 cup of milk in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Use a large spoon to drop 6 portions of dough onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake until golden brown, for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • In a large nonstick skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until no longer pink. Add garlic, mushrooms, and bell pepper; cook for 3 to 4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender. Mix in 1/4 cup of Bisquick until blended. Add peas, salt, pepper, and 2 cups milk. Cook until it bubbles and thickens. Finally, stir in the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  • Split the biscuits and place the bottoms on serving plates. Spoon a generous 1/3 cup of the turkey mixture over each biscuit bottom. Top with the biscuit tops and the rest of the turkey mixture.
