Nourishing homemade turkey baby food that's gentle on baby's tummy, packed with iron, and freezer-friendly.
Ingredients:
  • 1 turkey drumstick
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer the turkey drumstick in water until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 40 minutes. Check with an instant-read thermometer for a temperature of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) near the bone.
  • Let the turkey cool with the lid on for about 20 minutes before handling.
  • After cooking the turkey, keep the cooking liquid in the saucepan. Remove the skin, then shred the turkey meat and add it to a food processor or blender.
  • Gradually pour cooking liquid into the food processor, blending until turkey reaches a smooth consistency, adding more liquid as necessary.
