Savor a scrumptious family meal using leftover turkey and fresh veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into 1-inch slices, quartered
  • 1/2 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Chicken Helper™ Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • Melt butter in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add bell pepper, zucchini, and frozen peas; sauté for 4 to 6 minutes until crisp-tender. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • In the same 12-inch skillet, combine hot water, milk, half-and-half, and the sauce mix from the Chicken Helper™ box. Mix well. Add the uncooked pasta from the Chicken Helper™ box and turkey, and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 9 to 11 minutes until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens. Add vegetables and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
