Elevate your meal with Turkish-style one-pan eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 18.40 gm oil
  • 1 large brown onion, halved, thinly sliced
  • 5.00 gm smoked paprika
  • 2 x Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes 400g
  • 4 eggs, at room temperature
  • 4 rounds pita bread
  • 125.00 ml roast garlic tzatziki
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. In a medium frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Sauté onion for about 5 minutes until softened. Stir in paprika and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add tomato and 3/4 cup cold water, season, and bring to a simmer.
  • Wrap pita bread in foil and bake in oven until warm, about 5 minutes. Create 4 wells in the tomato mixture and crack 1 egg into each well. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for 5 minutes or until eggs are done to your preference.
  • Garnish with tzatziki and pita bread.
