Cream cheese topped with ripe, juicy strawberries for a sweet and creamy treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grenadine syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
Instructions:
  • Combine cream cheese and confectioners' sugar in a medium bowl until creamy, then mix in vanilla and almond extract. In another bowl, whip cream until peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Spread the filling over the baked pie crust and chill before serving.
  • Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan, then stir in water until smooth. Mix in grenadine and lemon juice. Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 5 minutes). Cool and chill before serving.
  • Toss strawberries in the cornstarch mixture until coated, then spread over the cream cheese layer before serving.
